    1. How did she prepare it? I usually just do a simple thing with apples.

      1. Apples: The only other way I’ve ever had what you had, Foie Gras Frais (“fresh”), is the same concept as what you do with apples, but with green grapes. Also delicious. But most of my grandma’s ended up canned, given she was making quite a bit (not industrial, but enough for the family, who was spread out). So we usually had that version cold, on bread. Also delish’.

      2. Also, not my grandma’s, but I’ve also had Foie Gras with chunks of truffles in it. If you like both, that’s a must try.
