One 20 month-old girl who’s already been to the emergency room twice in her short little life plus one skateboard plus one set of stairs equals?

The answer.

Chalk up another trip to Children’s Hospital Emergency. She’s fine, folks. Just a slight fracture. And the most wonderful thing is… she did it 1 day after we started being covered under our new insurance plan.

    her brother got a cool skateboard that’s just his size for christmas. the stairs were my mom’s stairs (inside the house).

    maybe she should really have her ollies wired before she moves up to stair sets. the trick is to start small, kick hard, and ride away clean.when i think of anika, i think of a mini Jamie Thomas. glad shes fine. how does ian feel about all of this?

    insurance sertainly has it’s perks. hopefully it wasn’t a serious fracture.

    wasn’t serious. they call it a buckle fracture or some such thing. the bones just kind of mashed together at her wrist as baby bones are soft. hell she didn’t even really start complaining about it til the next day, and at that point we knew we had to take her in.
