Perfect
So, as a Mac-user, I probably take great industrial design for granted. But my gaze just happened to fall on my Apple Pro Mouse and it hit me for the first time since I saw one for the first time that this object seriously is a thing of beauty. One of the most beautiful thigs ever created. I’m not kidding. Perfectly functional without too many ‘features,’ like the rest of the PC world’s mice.. you can launch a fucking rocket with those things with 12 buttons, and yet Apple sticks to the single-button mouse. Because the mouse has one use, and one button takes care of that wonderfully. Fuck that scroll-wheel shit, I say.

Word. Lovin’ my Pro mouse….
while i always respect apple’s grand design sense, do not fucking dis the scroll wheel that those of us love. i go use mi madre’s imac (that has the nice new mac mouse) from time to time, and its like living in the dark ages not having a scroll wheel. i say that if a feature does not confuse/impede the user, and in fact enriches their experience, then let us rock the scroll wheel mic, yo.
plus you said ‘thigs’
I have to agree with Scott, I need my three button scroll wheel mouse. Leaves one hand free.
Whaddy’a need that other hand free for? (ROFLOL! Sorry I couldn’t resist.)
Just an addition that for people with bum wrists like me, having multiple programmable buttons (such as on the Kensington Expert Mouse) saves a lot of mousing around, and thus saves wear and tear on our already damaged synovial membranes. The Apple Pro Mouse *is* a thing of beauty, but in my case at least, lowering the amount of movement my wrist deals with while I’m working is more important than how pretty my hardware is. (This reasoning, though, does of course give me justification for buying a TiBook…the low weight means less wrist strain when carrying it around.)
Mostly for nose picking…..is that too gross?
There is no need to justify a TiBook….why I didn’t buy one soon I’ll never know…;)
