Microslut IIS (It Isn't Secure)

This story about Microsoft IIS (IIS is their web server software) is so funny, It took the media and most of IT about 5 years to figure this out? I knew IIS was shite the first time I ever installed it. Especially with WinNUkePro and NTAttack and other Mac GUI based windows attacks in all the Hotline rooms… That alone made it fairly obvious.

    We weren’t affected by the worm, but I am seriously pushing hard for my company to leave MSFT behind at start using Apache. I emailed this article to the IS/IT staff here, along with my comments.

    Here’s one gem: “…they also pointed out that Microsoft is one of the few vendors that issues security bulletins and patches as soon as a problem is found.”

    Yes, Indeed, RedHat is absolutely 100% better at updates than MS… its all just more MS branded FUD. (Fear Uncertainty and Doubt)
