There’s something about straight-edge that I admire, this idea that your body is a temple, blah blah blah. I could never do it, but I don’t give shit to those you can. What I don’t get is how thousands of tiny injections of ink are ok, but a beer is not. Or why your body needs to be a billboard for a diet-based lifestyle. VEGAN 4 LIFE, BITCHES.

    Straight edge is a cult. I used to consider myself straight edge, then I got to college and met a lot of insane people who wanted me to turn vegan and go to shows and beat up non-edge kids. So I gave up the term.
