Farewell White Spot!
Today I decided to read the Denver Post to see what’s up and found out that White Spot, a local 24-hour coffee shop, is closing after 40 years.
White Spot will be torn down and replaced with a 15-story condominium and stores.
Well, I guess we won’t be seeing White Spot again upon our return to Denver someday.
And no more plastic wrap in the gravy for 808. Yum!

Don’t worry, they may not be the same but there’s lot’s of White Spots here in Vancouver 🙂
That place if kinda a dive anyway. The golden triangle is getting really built up. AND they might tear down Ilios for a giant art-museum project. Ilios is good, but i’d like a decent art museum, too.
That is real sad. There is a white spot in Anchorage Alaska. Has the best halibut sandwich ever. Not to mention the worlds best gumbo. With my recent move to utard I am really missing it.
I’ve never been in the White Spot. When I was 6 or 7 someone was shot and killed there (Golden Triangle location). Now it reminds me of the final scene from Pulp Fiction.
