I am in “shock and awe” of the fact that they would put information like that into Bush’s State of the Union Address. I do, however, honestly believe that it was simply a mistake. I give Bush the benefit of the doubt.
Wow, the BBC, huh? That’s weird. I mean, they’ve been saying that the British report that we based that on was erroneous all along, despite the proof that Jack Straw and others have offered to the contrary. The only mistake is location here. Niger was not the location these items were sought to be purchased at. That doesn’t change the fact that Saddam tried to buy them. I don’t know why the left wants to throw the baby out with the bathwater on this one.
