This notice was sent to email subscribers at MyOwnEmail.com that use the “defrauding and misleading” metallicafan.com domain for email. This is pretty fucked up. I don’t think that they have to worry about those people wanting to use that domain again. I would imagine the next logical step to be to shut down all the Metallica fan pages that use their logos and trademarks without paying a royalty.

I Want to Shit Myself

I’m speechless. This keynote was insanely insane. PowerBook G4s made out of titanium… iDVD, iTunes, 733 mhz PowerMac G4s, SuperDrive. I want to shit myself.

The lowdown:
1. 466, 533, 733 mhz G4 PowerMacs. All models come with single processors except the 533 can be BTO with dual. All models come with built-in CD R/W drives.
2. The 733 mhz model G4 comes with a ‘SuperDrive‘ which can read/write both CDs and DVDs.
3. iTunes. New FREE software to rip, burn and play music to and from CDs, MP3 players, CD R/W drives. It’s rad.
4. iDVD. New FREE iMovie-esque software to make your own DVDs with the new SuperDrive. Also, new $995 DVD Studio Pro: professional DVD-editing/layout software.
5. 400/500 mhz PowerBook G4s. 1 inch thick made out of Titanium, 15.2 inch display, looks like the Cube. It’s badass. $2599 and $3499.

Hate Macs?

I found this site after clicking on a little ad that had the Apple logo and then gunshots appearing in it, with the headline ‘Hate macs? Click here.’ So I clicked, to see what it was. And it’s a neat little explanation of why Macs are better, with arguments targeted specifically to comments found on message boards, etc. So it’s a good resource to show your PC-weenie friends, which you shouldn’t have.

Fuck him. 'Thanks for your help' was the response I got when I told him to reformat the drive after they reinstalled and still had the same problems. Fuck that shit. After not even wanting to be here any more, they pull this BS on me. Give me a break. I don't get paid to be helpful. My machine hums along fine without anyone elses help, and that's the best I can fucking do right now. Why didn't they hire someone with Mac experience? Hello? I really don't want to even be here anymore. Fuck these guys.

On a semi-related note, does anyone know a way for us to do the SMB filesharing between Mac and NT on the server side instead of us all using DAVE clients on our machines?
