Adobe has no plans at present to create a version of ATM Deluxe that runs on Mac OS X.
I think we can all join in for a heartfelt ‘Fuck you’ to Adobe on this. I mean, what could they possibly have as a reason for not carbonizing or cocoa-ing Type Manager? That’s ridiculous.

Perhaps because the type management built into OSX was a bit fat “Fuck you Adobe” from Apple? Could Apple be planning to enhance the OSX one so it takes over all the functionality of ATM Deluxe? I dunno.
I didn’t really thing about that, I guess. What’s the built-in management tool like? I suppose it’s not like how 9 works?
It doesn’t really allow you to turn fonts on and off, but the built-in tool does let you preview different sizes on the fly. It also helps organize things. Frankly, since you don’t have to put fonts in the System Folder and quit all applications to use the new fonts, why would you need ATM Deluxe? Not to mention, Quartz handles the anti-aliasing…
Ah… sounds better than ATM anyway.. Isn’t Quartz based on PDF? So why should Adobe be pissed?
