Must be rough..
Okay, so I’m heading out to NYC this weekend, and so I’m looking for something cool to do, and I run into a post somewhere about a good DJ I’ve actually heard of playing one of the nights I’m there. Now, of course the only sort of experience I have with being out is mostly confined to Denver’s arcane rule that at 2AM, any and all alcohol serving must stop.
In New York, the aforementioned DJ doesn’t even start playing until 3AM. Ah, what life in a real city must be like.

i don’t want to doublecheck, but the Upright Citizens Brigade’s theatre puts on free improv shows every sunday night. you might want to check that out if you dig sketch comedy at all.
Update: it’s an official Alternate.org Founding Members Trip™. And we’re coming home Sunday evening, so no UCB.

how is it that you get to go to NYC on Valentine’s weekend without your wife? I don’t think I’m allowed to leave walkie-talkie range until monday morning. and i’m talking the talkabout motorola ones, not the good police ones. 1650 feet, and that’s line-of-sight. It was in the contract. book it. sold.
