Im kind of embarassed that my machine (that I happen to be using today) doesn’t have anything other than an MS browser…
works in netscape 4.7 for mac….
I know for sure that this is a lockout by MS that is affecting Opera and Mozilla. I don’t even have Netscape anymore, or I’d test it. Anyway, here’s an article on c|net about it: http://news.cnet.com/news/0-1005-200-7667367.html?tag=mn_hd
assholes…..
m$ that is
maybe they changed their mind, or its a Windows-only lock out of alt browsers, but OmniWeb and N6 for OSX all loaded it (N6 actually did it quite fast, after taking a full minute to load…)
“Standards? We thought you meant our standards… Not those crazy ones dreamed up by the W3C and implemented 99% by Mozilla and Opera.”
so when i interview at m$ next week, i should bring this up and lecture them on accessibility and standards, right?
The only real consolation I have about this is that I don’t visit MSN.com all to often. If I have to, from now I am guess I am going to have to dust of IE.
