Where is an idiot-proof OS for the home user with a default GUI install and setup that asks only a few important, easy to understand questions of the owner?

It’s at CompUSA, in the back. It has a giant ‘X’ on the front.

  1. Note how the author says “the forthcoming Windows 2000…” and his focus on the DOJ trial — this is an article from 1999. Of course, they don’t date these things but the complete lack of Windows XP references is telling. OSX Beta hadn’t even surfaced at this point… And I still wouldn’t call OSX idiot-proof.
