alternateorg on April 24, 2001

Ximian announced the availability Ximian GNOME 1.4 today… which looks strkingly like… well, MacOS 9, except for the installation manager, which looks a lot like WinXP, which I won’t even link to.

    Actually, I find that it looks strikingly like… well, Mac OS 9, QNX Photon, Windows 9x and every other half-way (well, maybe not Windows) respectable interface lumped into one. How original.

    No shit, i mean, how many of those icons are application switchers/launchers? all of them, none of them? WTF, how about some standardization guys.
