The System was Down

From last Friday evening until yesterday night, the server that housed this website (as well as my other sites) was “being moved” by the ISP who hosted it.

By “being moved,” we thought that meant it’d be up early Saturday morning. Apparently what the ISP meant by “being moved” was that they were going to take it on a long road trip and that we shouldn’t worry about it, but that we’d hear from it eventually. For all we know, that server is drunk on tequila in a Mexican jail after a crazy night of strippers and donkeys.

Ok, so the analogy falls flat, but the point is, we have our old data at a new ISP, and should hopefully never hear from that old ISP or their mischievous little server again.
