Bush Military Documents "Fake but accurate"

Okay, I’m not really prepared to get into the entire thing about the documents CBS got from “trusted sources” that contain variable-width typefaces and superscripts that typewriters from the 70s couldn’t even accomplish, but suffice it to say that this graphic that this guy produced with Word says it all:

I’d read about this before, and now CBS is saying that the documents are Fake, but accurate.

American mass-media proves itself worthless once again!

  1. That link’s not working for me (littlegreenfootballs).

From what I’ve heard, Bush’s service in the National Guard was exemplary, and then it looks like he had some kind of personal problem because it all went downhill at once (bad reports, lowered scores, requested permission to transfer to Alabama). Less than a year later he was at Harvard Law School calling the New Deal Socialist. *Shrugs*

You can’t , however, attack Bush’s Vietnam service without acknowledging Kerry’s various lies about his Vietnam service and his actions once he got back home.

  2. wow, nice superscript… lol
